Who we are

Founded in Fall 2022 by Montreal-native, London-based Director Achlaï Ernest Wallace, the award-winning London Kids Community Gospel Choir (LKCGC) is comprised of 35 children and youth ages 7–17 from London, Ontario in Canada and surrounding areas.

LKCGC provides a welcoming space where members learn to sing traditional and contemporary gospel music while developing their voices through complex harmonies and creative expression. More than just a choir, LKCGC nurtures confidence, connection, and a strong sense of belonging among its members.

The choir has been recognized as a 2024 Forest City Music Awards nominee, a 2nd place winner at London’s Got Talent 2024, and a 2025 Essence and Cultural Awards recipient in the Gospel/Contemporary Music Artist of the Year category.
